Hello everyone!  We would like to ask for your support in helping promote storm water education in the Skagit County community.  Please note the 2 attached education fliers - 1 in 8 1/2 x 11 format (condensed message) and the other in 11 x 17 format (includes what "you can do to help") - that we have developed in partnership with the cities of Burlington, Mount Vernon, Sedro-Woolley, and Skagit County as part of an outreach campaign.  We also have an educational ad in similar format that will be running in the local newspapers over the next year to help in generating more awareness of polluted storm water runoff and what we can do as local residents to reduce our impacts.   A brochure is also in progress.  We liked the "clean and mighty Skagit" as a header because it "makes it our own" and also ties in great with the theme that the Skagit County Kids Museum is using for their new exhibit as well as with the work of all our partners (you!).

Thank you for posting the attached on your websites, emails,  and other social media that you use to help get the word out.  I will be getting the attached fliers printed on cardstock to start putting up around the community, however, they also print great on regular printer paper if you have somewhere to post.  And, if you would like copies of them on the cardstock, please just let me know and I will get some to you when the printing is done (probably by the end of next week).

Thank you all for all of your great work in the Skagit County community!  Have a wonderful 2016!

Sincerely,
Kristi Carpenter
