According to U.S. Climate Data the average rainfall for this area in for December is 3.98 inches. We had 10.96 inches. In the low lands, that's a lot of rain. Half way through January we have had .83 inches of rain and snow, our average 4.21. With the cold weather and the amount of precipitation we have had, our mountains are getting a decent snow pack for this summer.
