Help get the word out: Double Up Bucks, free money that makes our farmers markets even more affordable for low income families

Please help us reach people in need!

Bow Little Market (and Sedro Woolley and Anacortes and Mount Vernon Farmer's Markets) take EBT, WIC/Senior, and offer an EBT double bucks program. We will all also be distributing market dollars to food bank customers in the near future.  Double Bucks matches EBT dollars up to $20 per market visit to spend on fruits and vegetables. The Food Bank Dollars will be given in $10 blocks and can be spent on fruits and vegetables at any of the 4 farmer's markets above.

Low income families often don't realize that produce at farmer's markets can be very reasonably priced. Along with the benefit of buying beautiful just-picked fruits and veg, we offer help in the form of double bucks.

Everyone who needs the help should get this message. Please help us get the word out so we can do the most good with these wonderful programs. It is tragic for this money to go to waste when people in our community don't have access to the best food.

Please tell your family, friends and neighbors. Help them get to the market to take advantage of this opportunity. No one in our community should be hungry!

Thank you!
