Chuckanut Transition's Community Cider Press And A Survey of Interest

8/9/2014

The Chuckanut Transition Initiating Committee is proud to announce that our community cider press project has been completed and is ready for our 2014 Harvest Season!  The press will be accessed through the Alger Community Hall.

Pay your $10 yearly membership fee to become a community hall member to gain access to the cider press.   If you wish to press a large amount of apples, contact community hall for scheduling and fees at algercommunityhall@yahoo.com or call Anette at 360-724-0340.

Thank you to the Soler family for donating their family cider press, Keith Witter for replacing woodwork and refurbishing press to its former splendor and all who donated funds in support of this project!

We are conducting a survey of interest for community cider press so we can most effectively serve the needs of our community.

We were considering scheduling two community cider press days, September 27 and October 18...but we have some questions before we schedule times.
