Alger Trading Post – You don’t have to go to town!
1712 Old Hwy 99N

Hours: Saturdays & Sunday 10am-4pm
If you drive down Old Highway 99N you may have seen the old grey building next to the Alger Bar & Grille. The Alger Trading Post sign has been up for years, but it seems like the place is never open. If you have seen this building, you have probably asked yourself “what’s in there”?  You now have the chance to see the unique collection of odds and ends. Tools, collectable toys, antiques, shop manuals, boxes of ephemera, and jewelry, are all a part of this eccentric collection, plus so much more. The owner, Bryan, also has an assortment of screws, nuts, bolts, drive belts, mower parts and other hardware. I recall a time, in the middle of building my compost bin; I got to the point of needing some hinges. There I was, again, in the middle of a project, and I did not have the parts to finish it without going into town. Bryan just happened to be in his shop that day and I was able to get my hinges, without leaving Alger! So if you are interested in collectables, second hand tools, or you just need that last handful of screws to finish your project, drop by. Inventory changes weekly, so stop in often.
Thanks!
Anette Witter
