Anacortes Senior Center (1701 22nd St.)
Our presentation this month is "Food for Thought," a panel discussion on local food resources and what we can do to “buy local.” Panel members come from the Farmers Market, Fidalgo and Guemes Island Gleaners, the future Anacortes Co-op, and local grocery stores. Each speaker will give a summary of their local-food program, and there will be an open question session. Bring your questions about local food resources and how each one of us can participate in our local resources.
Open to all and welcome; no reservations necessary.
Suggested supper donation $7/adult; $3/10 and under.
Please bring your own place settings.
